February Hauls: GoT, SW and Comics!

New month, new hauls. I'm happy that Powerbooks sent me a free Powercard now that they've decided to open up that privilege again. Having one entitles me to 10% discount on cash purchases (5% for card) so I've been re-visiting Powerbooks again.

I do wish they start building up their graphic novel section again. NBS has more selections now, though honestly, the point-system is getting old in terms of rewards. Fully Booked (Eastwood branch at least) also seems to have fewer comic book titles these days. Hohwell~

All those new Star Wars toys are new releases. I wasn't able to attend the launch but I heard that the Pinoy Star Wars Collectors did a display that time. Fighter Pods are so cute. Lucky that the ones I got also has Kit Fisto and Yoda. Then there's Jabba too...a cute Jabba!

We'll be going to Greenhills on Sunday and the boyfriend will be getting his V-Day gift then~ More hauls!

GoT Shirts!

Dinner at Trinoma yesterday led to the boyfriend visiting Cutting Edge to look at a SW box he saw from outside the store. (Turned out it was a book: The Jedi Path.)

Browsing, I came upon these and I just had to buy them:

They're the shirts sold at the HBO store (which my mom couldn't get me when she was in the States) and Cutting Edge is selling a few of them. They have very limited stocks of these, I think these two shirts that I bought are the only ones they have for the designs. Got the shirts for Php1350 each.

They also have the wall banner for Targaryen and Stark and sadly, they ran out of the Night Watch mug :(

An Unexpected Gift

Hauls: Green Lantern Blackest Night/Brightest Day Rings!

OMG OMG OMG XDDDDD

These are the Blackest Night and Brightest Day rings from Green Lantern. They're the ones that would come with a comic book purchase but I wanted the rings~~

They're here! Thanks to my grandfather and grandmother, I was able to score these babies from Ebay~ They gave it too as a gift so I didn't pay a single peso for them :D

My apologies for the pictures. I just opened them up and took pictures right away as the boyfriend requested :D

Another thing to spend on: Star Wars Adidas Shoes

So we've already seen the Han Solo in Carbonite Block inspired Adidas shoes for their Star Wars x Adidas Fall 2010 collection. This is something that I will definitely be getting - probably as a birthday gift for myself~

Now we have these:

First is the C-3PO and R2-D2 pair whose color is split right at the middle of each shoe to represent the color scheme of both droids. This is a highly tempting pair to get ;A;

Then there are these equally wonderful pairs

That's a green high-cut Jabba the Hutt pair, a furry (and cute!) Chewbacca pair and yes, that motif is all-too-popular not to be known: a Boba Fett pair.

They'll be out by September, and I'm really hoping that that Adidas store clerk I left my mobile number with would send me a message on time that they have stocks of these... Or at the very least, they have the Han Solo ones XD

Maybe I'd be powerful if I had these...

I so can't believe it but it's here!!

They will be releasing a Han Solo design for the Fall/Winter 2010 Star Wars X Adidas collection~ I so have to own this. It's Han Solo!

No, that's actually Han Solo in Carbonite Block. And I love what they did to this picture:

I am super excited. I hope that that guy from the Adidas store where I got my Slave Leia and X-Wings will text me ON TIME about this. (Yeah, I left my number at the store for updates. Dork, I know.)
