Kidrobot for Swatch watch

I initially didn't know whether to post this here or at my other (more personal) blog, but since there's a toy involved, I decided to put it here to stay true to the whole "toys and figures" thing haha.

Boyfriend bought me another Christmas present: a KidrobotXSwatch watch that I've been eying for quite some time now. I didn't buy it because I just received a new Swatch for my birthday this year.

Happy happy~

Inside the plastic box~

There are 8 designs in this series. The one that I got is called Love Song by Tilt, a French graffiti artist. Each one comes with its own Dunny that has the same design as the watch.

Side-by-side

DUNNY. Really colorful Dunny.

The Dunny isn't made of vinyl as I expected it to be though. It's made of plastic, seamlines and all. Quite light too. The paint job is decent, however, so it's a plus point.

Here are a few other pictures of the watch (along with my Strawberry Switchblade):

Jack of Fables: Complete!

Was finally able to complete the rest of Jack of Fables TPBs.

Got the following yesterday:

And the latest Kikomachine book:

Thinking what to buy next. All the books above can be read in one day, so I find myself needing more books. I might buy Greek Street later, all 3 volumes and hopefully, Fables Vol. 16 is available too.

Doesn't it excite you?!

It'll show next year though, December 14, 2012. Then followed up by The Hobbit: There and Back Again on December 13, 2013.

Why must it take so long, Peter Jackson?

Otakai Christmas Party and other hauls

Without finding anything else to buy at the Toy Fair (and Megamall in general), me and the boyfriend decided to go to Greenhills. Otakai's Christmas party was scheduled at 7PM in GH, so we decided to kill some time by doing some usual rounds. Kamadoma (an Otakai member) was with us -- met him as we were going back to the Toy Fair to get some exchange gift items and some prize solicitations from uchihaitachix (another Otakai member who has a booth at the fair).

Without further ado, the Greenhills rounds hauls:

Playskool and Hallmark Han Solos

Umbrella Academy Volumes 1 and 2
Zoro from Wasabi Toys

1/4 scaled Han Solo from DST FINALLY!

Size comparison with the 3.75" Han Solo

That last one there was a blow and it took me less than 5 minutes to go back to Maxicollector and purchase the humongous Han. Cannot resist. Really.
Then it was time for the Christmas party. My name was picked for the raffle and I got this:

My very first Figma! (The one beside it is the fig the boyfriend got for the exchange gifts)

The party was a blast! Food always tastes better if you eat it with good company :)

Anyway, I forgot to post these hauls from last week:

+1 Animated Maquette for the boyfriend

Yay new Sheryl!

Boyfriend is trying to complete the Unleashed line.. So here's one

And another

And another...

My Maya figure broke, so I got a new one along with my SHOGO MURATA yay!

Christmas Toy Fair 2011

Me and the boyfriend dropped by the Christmas Toy Fair yesterday in Megamall. We went early so that we'll be able to browse through the booths without too many people bumping and pushing and gawking. We came in before any of the cosplayers arrived, thank god.

I wasn't able to take any pictures but the Toy Fair but this year's event included a die-cast car showcase. Lots of die-cast cars. All cars. My sister would have loved it there. Or hated it. Depends if she's envious or something.

Anyway, the hauls from the Toy Fair:

Confidential Confessions and Genshiken are not from the fair.

Hardbound graphic novels for 50% off their original prices

More Han Solo!

 The boyfriend's, not mine ^^

Yeah~ more Crows figs, albeit they're the trading figure kind. Yay Bouya!

My cousin's Christmas gift

We then went around the mall after lunch. There were already too many people at the fair because the cosplayers have started coming so we decided to come back just before we leave Megamall to get some solicitation from a member who has a booth there.

So going around the mall got me these:

Finally found this, though still missing 3 more issues.

Hello Kitty earrings! Aren't they the cutest? =^_^=

Boyfriend's Christmas gift! Yay new sleeve for Rivendell!

Not pictured: Klang Klan gasha for the boyfriend XD

I still have more hauls from when we transferred to Greenhills but I'll be putting it in a separate post so that I won't overload this post with pictures lol.

Live Action Rurouni Kenshin

Images of the live action Kenshin (Satoh Takeru) and Kaoru (Takei Emi) have surfaced:

1112008

1112005

Looks okay enough, for a live action. I'm not a big fan of anime-turned-live-action save for a few (like NANA) but this looks okay enough...I guess.

I want to see the other characters soon! Team Saitoh! XD
