Local video stores are selling some blu-ray titles for Php499 each until supplies last. Local video stores mean Odyssey and the Astro franchise.
We asked why they were selling the discs for roughly 1/3 the original price and the saleslady said that the company handling the titles were giving them up to another company. It's basically a liquidation sale.
Of course, boyfriend and I didn't pass up on the chance to load up on blu-ray discs...

Other titles that we saw include Little Mermaid 2, Frankenweenie, Up, Alice in Wonderland... And a few non-animated movies that I can't really recall for some reason.
