I got my Maeda Keiji last week from
CW Toys. As any collector with a nice new camera would do, I took pictures as soon as I got home from Greenhills. And as any collector who is swamped with work would do, I'm posting the pictures a 6 days after I took them.
Better late than never.
One thing I noticed was that the boxed figure was HEAVY. Upon opening, I found out that it was mainly the umbrella that was heavy.
Scantily dressed with only the open kimono to show you that she's supposed to be a samurai, I was not disappointed with her. Alter did a good job with the sculpt and all the fine details -- I guess that's partly the reason why I'm completing the Hyakka Ryouran line.
Those boobs.
The bikini holding her together is actually made of rubber...or at least it feels like it.
That face.
A night shot with my favorite prop: our wall lamp.
And now with a new-found prop: some "Zen" stuff in our garden
Did I mention that her umbrella is huge?
I really love the details in her kimono
Huge box for a huge (umbrella) figure
